We are Island Boat Adventures! We’ve been providing boat tours to Egmont Key for over 15 years! Our Crew is dedicated to making sure your vacation the best experience possible. We love the Ocean and we love showing our customers the wonders of nature through our tours. Whether you come for the snorkeling, shelling, or just to relax on the pristine white sand beaches, you’re sure to be wowed by our adventures.

Our Captains
Captain Mike
• Capt. Mike has been sailing on the waters of Florida’s Gulf Coast since he was a teenager. He credits his father for his love of the ocean. He remembers many a day spent out on the water with fishing poles in hand. “We fished every bridge from Miami to Key West”, recalls Capt. Mike. He has been living in the Tampa Bay area for over 30 years and knows the area waters well. Capt. Mike loves working with Island Boat Adventures. “Everyday is a new experience and a new chance show our guests the best adventure of their vacation!” Capt. Mike is thankful to live in the paradise of the Gulf Waters.
Captain Betty
Capt. Betty was born and raised in Florida. She grew up in the Florida Keys snorkeling for lobster and fishing for anything that was in season. She spent many days at sea with her family, as her father was a commercial fisherman. She loves being a part of the family at Island Boat Adventures. “We all work together to make sure our guests have a great time on board with us. We all love being out there on the Gulf and we are excited to share a fantastic experience with our guests”, says Capt. Betty. Capt. Betty handles the day to day operations at Island Boat Adventures, from answering the phones to scheduling trips. She is always available to answer any questions our guests have about the trips or the make their reservations.
Captain John
Captain Tanner
I love the water and have 30 plus years of boating experience. Most days you can find me on a boat or at the beach-whether I’m working or playing! I enjoy meeting new people and helping them share in my love of the ocean. Before becoming a team member of Island Boat Adventure, I spent time aboard a 45ft sailboat taking in the beautiful waters of west Florida from St. Pete to the dry tortugas to key west.
