Dolphin Boat Tours
Get up close and personal with friendly bottled nosed dolphins and abundant wildlife!
Wild Bottlenose Dolphins
Come with us as we go in search of Wild Bottlenose Dolphins! Enjoy Dolphin Watching all the way out to Egmont Key. Your Captain and Crew are extremely familiar with the local waters. They know where the Wild Dolphins like to play and they’re excited to show you! We will cruise through the backcountry waters searching for native wildlife among the mangroves and estuaries.
We will travel through Dolphin Bay and out into the Gulf in search of the amazing creatures and they are always happy to see us.

Amazing Wildlife Sightings
A few of the sights you may experience along the way are pods of Wild Bottlenose Dolphins playing in their natural environment, huge Manatees gracefully swimming past the boat, fevers of stingrays, rolling tarpon, and numerous native birds.
Natural Habitat
It is such a wonderful experience to view wild dolphins playing in their natural habitat! The Tampa Bay Area is known for it’s large population of Wild Bottlenose Dolphin. Whether the dolphin are feeding, migrating or playing in the cool waters of the Gulf, they are never too busy to stop by the Calypso Cat. The abundant sea grass beds also provide shelter and food for seahorse, sea turtles, and manatee!
The best way to view Dolphins is by boat and viewing them in the Tampa Bay is much easier than other areas due to our shallow waters and healthy sea grass beds.
This batch is from yesterday. I can’t wait to see what we find today!

Does anyone else collect these lucky sea beans? They can float on the ocean currents for years. If you’re lucky enough to find one, you can shake it next to your ear and hear the dried seed rattle inside. Natures beautiful little lucky charm! We found this one this morning on our Shell Key tour.

I’ve found lots of beautiful lightening whelks, but this is the first one like this! We found it on our tour to Egmont Key while snorkeling. After doing a bit of research, I did discover that this is a subspecies of the knobbed whelk called the Kiener’s whelk. The Kiener’s whelk is known for its swelling in the lower body whorl and its extra large recurved spines. It was a beautiful exciting find but the shell already had an owner and was promptly return to the ocean. Captain Betty
